Online Gradebook in Bb

Text to come...

Consequently, there are two interim approaches a faculty member using Bb for online assignment submission might take in the interim:

1. Assignments are submitted via Bb, graded and returned via Bb. The grade for that specific assignment is available online (and the graded work) for a limited time after grading (24-48 hours). Then the Grade Center item is made unavailable to the student but is still available to the faculty member. This means students will not have a Portfolio of their work for the term unless they download the graded work and store it on their own computer or on Socrates, or the teacher enables the ePortfolio feature in their Bb course.

2. Assignments are submitted via Bb, graded and returned via Bb. The graded work is returned online, but the actual grade is not recorded in the Bb grade book. Instead, the faculty member records completion of the assignment, but the official grade book is kept offline, in Gradekeeper, or another format. In this scenario, students have access to all of their work for the entire term, but cannot view their grades for submitted work online.
